So Yuletide did its reveal and I'm happy to post my story here. It did decently in the exchange, all in all, although I get the feeling that my assignee didn't care too much for it. printfogey was a gem and did a GREAT beta. In the end, I'm pretty satisfied with what I finished with. I wouldn't say it's a perfect story but there are some elements that I adore and the flow is well-defined.
